Hannah Frankson, Tunde Oyeneyin, and Charlotte Weidenbachand were announced as new Power Zone instructors in early November. My first reaction was that we don’t really need new instructors, especially if it means less classes from my favorites. Only Hannah has had a class drop so far.

Any Power Zone instructor you choose will be presenting you with a structured ride but with their own style. So how does Hannah fit within the styles of the first five Power Zone instructors and will she make my rotation?

Hannah Frankson: Teacher’s Pet

Hannah has been a Peloton instructor for four years

Hannah nails her first class. Her Power Zone explanations are spot on. A Matt Wilpers disciple (and fan), she focuses on training and down plays riding to the beat. Unlike Matt, Hannah appears to build her own playlists and give them their time (while she’s quiet). She’ll also singing out a lyric or two.

Like Ben and Sam (and Leanne), Hannah is British. If you struggle with their accents (like my wife asking ‘What did they say?’ throughout “The Full Monty”) then you might also find her classes challenging. “Ex-house” was actually “exhale”.

This is the first time I’ve used the instructor’s own self reference when selecting a moniker having previously named the original five
